What “ranked” actually measures
- ANSI/ESD S20.20: static dissipative flooring tests from 1.0 x 10^6 to 1.0 x 10^9 ohms to ground, conductive flooring tops out at 1.0 x 10^6 ohms, and a person walking on it stays under 100 volts [source]
- ASTM F1869: a slab gets a calcium chloride moisture test before a moisture-sensitive coating goes down, and the coating manufacturer sets the pass limit [source]
- ICRI 310.2: surface prep is graded on a 1 to 9 CSP profile before an epoxy, urethane or MMA coating gets bonded to it [source]
