Privacy Policy

We collect what you type into our forms so we can do the thing you asked for. If you ask to be matched, we pass your details to the company we match you with. We don't sell your information to anyone, and you can have it deleted by asking.

If you ask to be matched with a crew: your name, email, phone, the market you're in, the service you want, and whatever you write in the project details box.

If you submit or claim a company: the business name, your name, email and phone, your website, the markets and services you work in, and the supporting details you choose to send, such as certifications or a link to your photos.

If you ask us to change or remove a listing: your name, role, email, optional phone, and any proof link you send. We also record which listing you asked about and whether your email is on a domain that listing already points to.

Automatically: ordinary web analytics such as which pages were viewed. We do not build advertising profiles.

A match request goes to the flooring company we match you with, so they can contact you about your project. That is the purpose of the form, and it is the only routine sharing we do. Once they have your details, their own privacy practices apply to their copy of them.

A listing submission or a removal request is read by our team so a person can review it.

We use ordinary service providers to run the site and send our email. They process this information for us and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. We do not sell your personal information.

When you accept our terms on your first visit, your browser remembers that so we don't ask again. That record stays on your device. Clearing your site data removes it and you'll be asked once more.

Company profiles are built from business information that companies publish themselves and from public business listings. Every profile shows the source we read and the date. This is business information, not personal information about a private individual.

If you run a listed company and want the profile corrected or taken down, use the listing control form. No fee, and you don't have to give a reason.

Email hello@floorrank.com and ask. We'll tell you what we hold and delete it if you want it gone. If we already passed a match request to a flooring company, you'll need to ask them separately for their copy, and we'll tell you who they were.

We keep form submissions only as long as they are useful for the purpose you sent them for.

This site is for business use and is not directed at children.
