Best Polished Concrete in Tyler

What a polished floor has to survive in Tyler

• Tyler's two largest employers are healthcare systems: Christus Trinity Mother Frances with about 5,000 workers and UT Health East Texas with about 3,500, both running multi-building campuses that need industrial-grade and polished concrete flooring in labs, corridors, and support buildings. [1]
• Trane Technologies and Tyler Pipe both run manufacturing plants in Tyler, producing air conditioning and heat pump equipment and utility pipe, the kind of heavy-traffic industrial space that needs coated or polished floors instead of bare or painted slab. [2]
• Brookshire Grocery Company operates supermarket distribution out of Tyler, the kind of forklift-heavy warehouse floor that wears out unprotected concrete fast. [3]
• Winter Storm Uri drove Tyler's temperature down to a record negative 6 degrees Fahrenheit in February 2021, the kind of hard freeze that stresses exterior slabs and driveways with freeze-thaw cycling. [4]

What “ranked” actually measures

• ANSI/ESD S20.20: static dissipative flooring tests from 1.0 x 10^6 to 1.0 x 10^9 ohms to ground, conductive flooring tops out at 1.0 x 10^6 ohms, and a person walking on it stays under 100 volts [source]
• ASTM F1869: a slab gets a calcium chloride moisture test before a moisture-sensitive coating goes down, and the coating manufacturer sets the pass limit [source]
• ICRI 310.2: surface prep is graded on a 1 to 9 CSP profile before an epoxy, urethane or MMA coating gets bonded to it [source]
